Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education. 

We are currently seeking a Sr. Strategic Analyst who will provide and direct rigorous analysis for major decision processes at the hospital.  This role works directly with the Manager for Strategic Initiatives and the Chief of Strategic Planning and Innovation in evaluation of strategic initiatives using quantitative models and economic theory. The position is also charged with assisting senior management in other decision processes through reports on hospital and industry trends.

This position requires strong mathematical skills including Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Regression Analysis as well as strong Statistical Programming (SAS or equivalent) skills.  Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Word) as well as Statistical Software (SAS, SPSS, StatTools or equivalent) also required.

A Master’s degree in a decision science field (economics, operations research etc.) is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mathematical modeling is also required with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare related field. Some teaching experience is highly preferred. A strong background in the biological sciences is also preferred.
