Dr. Safari Katesari is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, where he teaches the Master's Thesis course for the Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (QMSS) program. His research interests span factor analysis, dimension reduction, multivariate time series analysis, Bayesian inference, and copula models. Dr. Safari Katesari received his PhD in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics from Southern Illinois University, where he was awarded the prestigious Doctoral Fellowship for two consecutive years. He also serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, teaching statistics courses for the Master of Data Science program.
